KRISSY
Krissy has returned to the shelter after spending time with a trainer and so terribly sad. When she knew she was having to leave....she hung onto the trainers shirt. It was an emotional day for all of us. And yes, the trainer gave her the bedding and shirt. It's the only thing she hasn't taken outside. She knew she was loved ♡♡♡♡
These were the Trainers observations :
Krissy has alot of energy outside. She sniffs everything like its a brand new experience. Inside, she becomes a couch potato. Shes the best bed time snuggler. Very loving and affectionate. Gets afraid when she isnt around her people. Doesn't want to loose the comforts of human companionship as she's been in a kennel for 18 months. A little anxiety is expected.
Krissy has a high prey drive. She hunts mice and gophers. Cats would not be recommended. Her kennel has been next to the shelter cats, she's never bothered them. Many cats, have gone right up to her kennel without reaction but due to her breed, it would be a concern. The perfect family would be a family with kids or someone with an active lifestyle. Shes working on commands, and learning fast. Shes very intelligent. She is very sensitive and knows when she's in trouble. She doesn't want to disappoint. This dog has so much potential. The first few days she was very anxious, but as she gets into a routine she has settled down. It saddens me that she will have to return to the shelter as she has really worked her way into my heart. I have to go out of state so I cant keep her. My heart hurts for her because this dog is truly something special 💔
